QUALIFYING:
All players will play 1 game on each of the 10 machines allocated, with all scores to count towards a player’s standings.
All qualifying games must be played as single player only.
No new games may commence after 8pm
Points allocated for each machine will be 100 for first, 99 for second, 98 for third and so on.
Players must queue on a game before starting and have their score recorded by a scorekeeper.
Players not queued or recording their own scores will have their score for that game voided and recorded as a zero.
The top 32 players will qualify for finals.
Tie breaker matches will occur for ANY ties in the Top 32.
FINALS:
The Top 32 players will be split into 4 groups of 8, playing a ladder elimination until there is only 1 player left in each group.
Matchplay software will decide games, with the top seeded player of each match getting first choice of play order (and so on, until all players have decided).
The 4 remaining players will proceed to a 4-game Group Matchplay final, with each player getting to choose a game (starting with lowest seed first).
Player order for Game 1 will start with the highest seeded player, then second highest and so on. Player order will then rotate for each game thereafter.
PAPA scoring will be used for the final round, with the player having the most points over the 4 games declared the winner.

FORMAT:
This event will be contested in the Fair Strikes format in Groups of 3 or 4 players, as allocated by the Matchplay software.
The actual number of Strikes allocated will depend on final number of competitors registered on the day.

QUALIFYING:
Players will play a ‘card’ of 6 games from a bank of around 12-14 machines available. This will count as one entry.
An unlimited number of Additional Cards can be purchased in order to get a better overall score, however only the player’s best card will be used towards the final standings. Players have the option to void cards if they wish.
All games are to be played as single player only.
Points allocated for each machine will be based on the PAPA 200 scoring which is as follows: 200 for 1st, 190 for 2nd, 185 for 3rd, 184 for 4th and so on.
The Top 32 players will advance to the finals. Ties for 8th (double-bye), 16th (single-bye) & 32nd place (to make finals) will be broken by a single game playoff on a machine to be drawn at random.
FINALS:
Top 32 players will advance to Group Matchplay finals, with the Top 8 players receiving a double-bye, while seeds 9th-16th will receive a single-bye. PAPA scoring will be used (4-2-1-0)
Each group will play 3 games, with the top seed in each group being able to select from a number of banks available. Each bank can only be selected twice per round, with groups on the same bank to start on different games. Same player cannot pick the same bank in 2 consecutive rounds.
Top 2 players in each group advance to the next round, with the other 2 players in each group being eliminated. Ties for any of the Top 2 positions in any group will again be broken by a single game playoff on a random machine.
Estimated TGP = 200% + 25% or 50% Certified boost

QUALIFYING:
Players will play across a bank of 12 machines, all from the Solid State era or earlier.
Each player will receive a maximum of 48 attempts, with a player's best 15 results to be used for qualifying.
Players MUST queue on Matchplay before playing and MUST either have their score recorded or voided by a scorekeeper at the completion of a game. Yellow and red cards may be issued for breaches of queuing/scoring.
All games are to be played as single player only.
Points allocated for each machine will be based on INDISC 200 scoring (200 / 195 / 190 / 189.....)
Top 32 players on points will advance to finals on Friday afternoon.
Ties for meaningful positions (8th, 16th & 32nd) will be played as a single game playoff on a machine drawn at random.
FINALS:
Top 32 players will advance to Group Matchplay finals, with the Top 8 players receiving a double bye, while the next 8 players receive a single bye. Marburg scoring will be used.
Each group will play 3 games, with the top seed in each group getting the opportunity to choose 2 games for their round (game 1 & 3), with the 2nd highest seed getting 1 choice (game 2).
Players with machine choice are unable to choose the same game more than once per round and cannot choose the same machine more than twice for the duration of the finals.
Top 2 players in each group advance to the next round, with the other 2 players in each group being eliminated.
Ties for any of the Top 2 positions in any group will again be broken by a single game playoff on a random machine.
The player with the most number of points after the final round is completed will be declared the winner.

QUALIFYING:
Qualifying will be contested as 10 rounds of 2 games of Group Matchplay, using PAPA scoring, with Balanced pairings for each round.
Top 32 players will advance to the finals.
Ties for 8th (double bye), 16th (single bye) & 32nd place (to make finals) will be broken by a single game playoff on a machine to be drawn at random. All other finals positions/seedings will be broken by Original IFPA seed.
FINALS:
Top 32 players will advance to Group Matchplay finals. Top 8 players receive a double bye, while the next 8 players will receive a first-round bye. Marburg scoring will be used.
For each round/group, top seeded player of the Group will select Games 1 & 3 of the round, while the 2nd Top seed will have selection for Game 2.
Players can only select a game ONCE for the entire finals
Player order for the first game of a match is decided in order by the Top to bottom seed.
The 4th-placed player from the previous game will then get first choice of order for the subsequent matches, then the 3rd place, and so on.
The Top 2 players in each group will advance to the next round, with the above process continuing until there is one clear winner.

Players will be allocated into groups, playing 2-games of Group Matchplay per round. Swiss pairings.
Machine banks (1 old, 1 new game) will be allocated to each group.Top 16 players will advance to finals, with a tie-breaker match for 8th & 16th spots to be played if required.
Qualifying will run for approximately 4 hours.
FINALS:
Group Matchplay finals, 3 games per round.
PAPA scoring w/ Bonus Point (5-3-2-1) will be used for the duration of the event.

QUALIFYING:
All players will be seeded based on their IFPA World ranking as at the time of the event.
Players will be placed into 4-player groups once seedings have been completed.
Each group will be assigned 3 games across each era (70s-80s, 90s, New) and play order at random by the Matchplay software.
First round groupings - Slaughter
Subsequent round groupings - Swiss
All games will be played as a 4-player game (unless the machine is unable to allow it and/or notified otherwise).
There will be 7 qualifying rounds (21 games per player). The top 32 players will advance to the Main Division Finals, with qualifiers 33-112 to be split into B/C/D/E/F Division Finals on Sunday.
Ties for any meaningful placings in the Top 32 (byes, finals cut-offs) will be broken by a single game playoff on a machine to be drawn at random.
Tie breaker matches will be played on the Saturday night after qualifying rounds have been completed. All other ties for finals seedings or division finals will be broken according to Original IFPA seeding.
FINALS:
Finals will start at approximately 9am on Sunday. First round players who do not turn up by the 8.30am check-in time when names are called may be excluded from participating.
A DIVISION
Top 32 QualifiersFinals will be contested under the IFPA Head-To-Head Best-of-5 game single elimination format.
(Top 8) receive double round bye. (9th-16th) receive a single-round bye.
In all matches in all rounds, the highest available seeded player will play the lowest available seed, with the next highest to play the next lowest, and so on until all players are paired up.
Highest available seed will get to choose the machine bank for their match, or defer their choice to their opponent instead. Once chosen, that player cannot pick the same bank again for the remainder of the finals.
The player who does not have machine choice will be able to choose the play order for Game 1 of the match. Player order will then alternate each game.
The first player to 3 wins in their Head-to-Head match will advance to the next round.
B/C/D/E/F DIVISION

All B/C/D/E/F Division finals will be contested under Best-of-3 game matches, with the winner advancing.
Highest available seed will always play the lowest available seed.
In the event that a player does not turn up for the Minor division finals, players will NOT be able to jump up a division, and instead will be replaced with a BYE in the lowest spot of that division.

Top 8 players will advance to best of 3-game Head to Head bracket elimination
Top seed chooses first game, opposing player chooses 2nd game.
3rd game (if needed) is chosen again by the top seed, however must be from a different era to Game 1.

Higher seed chooses first game, lower seed choosing second game.
Tiebreaker games will be drawn at random. This includes previous picks in H2H matchup.
